The origins of cannoli can be traced back to Sicily, where this sweet indulgence was first created. Traditionally, cannoli shells are made by deep-frying strips of dough, resulting in a golden and crispy exterior. The shells are then filled with a rich, velvety filling, often made with a combination of sweetened ricotta cheese, chocolate chips, candied fruit, and a hint of vanilla or citrus zest.
The combination of textures and flavors in cannoli is simply irresistible. The crunch of the shell contrasts beautifully with the smooth and creamy filling, creating a harmonious balance that keeps you coming back for more. Each bite is a burst of sweetness, punctuated by the subtle richness of the ricotta and the delightful surprises of chocolate or fruit.
Fried calamari is a beloved dish that showcases the exquisite flavors of the sea with a delightful crunch. This popular appetizer, originating from Mediterranean cuisine, has gained a dedicated following for its irresistible taste and addictive texture.
Calamari, also known as squid, is the star of this dish. The tender rings of squid are coated in a light and crispy batter, then deep-fried to perfection. The result is a golden and crunchy exterior that gives way to a succulent and flavorful interior.
The contrast between the crispy coating and the tender calamari creates a delightful combination of textures. With each bite, you experience the satisfying crunch followed by the delicate chewiness of the squid. It’s a harmonious dance of textures that keeps you reaching for more.
Fettuccine Alfredo is a classic Italian pasta dish that is celebrated for its rich, creamy, and indulgent flavors. Originating from Rome, this beloved pasta creation has become a staple in Italian cuisine, captivating the hearts and taste buds of pasta enthusiasts worldwide.
At its core, Fettuccine Alfredo is a simple yet elegant dish. Long, flat ribbons of fettuccine pasta are cooked to perfection, creating a tender and al dente texture. The pasta is then generously coated with a velvety sauce made from butter, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese.

Great food
Came here for the first time and I can say for sure it’s THE best Italian food I had ever I had their minestrone soup and it was good and it honestly was the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the cheese ravioli and my bf got tortellini d’angelo! They were both very good and I can’t wait to come here more! Service was great too!

Delicious food!
Delicious pizza, pasta and garlic bread. The service was friendly and outstanding. We were hungry and portions are generous. Good, fresh food served up quickly.

Good Wings and Good Service
Girlfriend and I came here after binge watching all of Kitchen Nightmares and discovering the restaurant is still alive. So yeah, we basically came as a meme. But my god, their food is actually INSANE. Fresh pastas made to order in a family-run mom and pop little restaurant. We ordered fried calamari, cheese ravioli, tortellini d’angelo, and a cannoli.
Everything was 10/10. We were shocked at how good the food was. It’s pretty clear why the restaurant’s still alive and thriving. Gordon’s show definitely didn’t do these folks justice .

Small but great local place
Try the tortellini DeAneglo. Cut down memo from the old Anahein location. A small local place about 6 takes inside and two on patio.

Food was good
There’s just something about hole in the wall, mom and pop, Italian spots!!
The location is small (approximately 5 tables with 4 chairs at each table) but packs a big punch! Right when I walked in I was immediately welcomed and sat. Right away I was given a basket of some of the softest garlic bread (very yummy!).
To start i ordered the calamari (8.5/10) and the antipasto salad (5/10). The calamari was breaded to perfection and the marinara they provide is phenomenal. While you’re eating you can actually see the gentleman in the back adding all the ingredients to make the marinara fresh (PRO TIP: save some garlic bread to dip in the marinara). As for the antipasto salad…I was not impressed. It is as slightly basic and small which isn’t a big deal, next time maybe I’ll just order more bread! Haha
For my meal I ordered the baked ziti (12/10) and the combo pizza (9/10). The baked ziti is a must! Nice baked crust over the top, full of creamy ricotta on the inside, and just a hint of their sauce which has a nice sweetness which is a perfect pairing. The pizza was solid, nothing out of the ordinary but had a nice thin crust, lots of topping, and good tasting!
For dessert I ordered a cannoli and wow. What a great way to end a very savory meal. The cannoli was fresh, palate cleansing, and wasn’t overly sweet.
Overall I highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back!
